Has your TV come out of the closet?

Where are all those armoires going to go? Until recently, the armoire was the centerpiece of most living rooms, disguising those monster old TVs as tasteful furniture. But today it is no longer considered ugly to have the TV on display. In fact, it has become the norm to show off the size of our energy efficient flat screens TV’s and as a result we no longer need the armoire.
I have a whole new appreciation for the term LCD, Liquid Crystal Display. In fact that is exactly what I am proposing you do with your armoire: Display your Liquids in Crystal. Re-purpose those armoires into a bar or a drinks center. It is simple enough to do with the addition of a few glass shelves, some mood lighting and a few pieces of crystal to shimmer away in the evening. You can create a fabulous entertainment zone.
Pour yourself a drink, sit and relax while you watch a movie on the big screen now proudly displayed on the wall and know that you have done a good thing by keeping the old armoire out of the land fill.
Some other ideas:
A toy closet, a book bag closet, a linen closet, a library, a closet for games and, if it is way past being attractive, a tool closet or a place for all the outdoor play gear in the garage.
